Elio Geiler is a 2D animator and storyboarder. In this role, he works with the director and script to bring their creative vision to life in a series of dynamic illustrations. With a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree in Cinematic Arts and Technology, he brings a thorough knowledge of cinematography and film to his work. Elio is also passionate about storytelling and emotional themes in his work.

Elio worked with the director of the upcoming feature film, The Sonder, to create the storyboards to be used as an on-set reference by the cinematographer. He worked with the director to emphasize and strengthen moments in the script with particular emotion and intrigue.

Elio’s debut animated short film, LAIKA, has been featured in three film festivals across California. This work has been revered for its unique and graceful animation style. 

In Elio’s free time, he enjoys drawing, playing guitar, and spending time with his two cats, Marty and Pixie.
